Local SEO for Accountants, Done the Unglamorous Way That Works

Local searches end at three map results and a short list of links. Getting there is patient work: citations that agree, pages that answer real questions, reviews that keep arriving. We do the patient work, and you see the report.

The Work Behind a Map Ranking

    The Map Pack Earned

Three firms show under the map for every local search. Profile completeness, citations, and review signals decide which three. We work on all of it, on a schedule, until it's you.

    Pages Clients Actually Search

A page for IRS letters. A page for S corp returns. A page for your town. Local rankings are won by pages that answer what people type, written like your firm and not like a template.

    Citations That Agree

Your name, address, and phone, identical across every directory that matters. Tedious work, real ranking weight. We do it so nobody at your firm ever has to.

    What Actually Moves Local Rankings

No secret levers. Google reads consistency, activity, proximity, and reviews, then decides who deserves the map. Your Google Business Profile carries a lot of that weight, and your website carries the rest. So we track the searches that matter in your town and work whichever signal is furthest behind.

    • Rank tracking for the searches your clients actually type
    • Location and service pages written for your market
    • Citation cleanup across the directories that count
    • Review growth that never resorts to a mass blast

    Who It's For

Firms whose growth depends on being found by strangers, not just referrals

    CPAs & Tax Preparers

Tax clients search in bursts, January through April. The firms already ranked when the burst hits collect the calls.

    Bookkeepers & Advisors

Recurring monthly clients are worth ranking for all year, not just during filing season.

    Multi-Office Firms

Each location needs its own citations, its own page, its own rankings. We keep them from stepping on each other.

    Firms With No Marketing Staff

Local SEO rewards consistency over cleverness. We supply the consistency while you do the accounting.

Forty Directories, Four Versions of Your Address

There's a version of this we keep seeing, and the shape of it is always the same. A CPA moves offices, or the building adds a suite number somewhere along the way, and nobody thinks about the forty directories that copied the old address years ago. Yelp says Suite 210. The state society listing says Ste. 210. An ancient Yellow Pages import says #210, and a data aggregator nobody's heard of dropped the suite entirely and kept a phone number from two jobs ago. To a person, these are obviously the same office. To the systems deciding local rankings, they read like four businesses with a credibility problem, and the profile quietly sinks while the firm wonders why February got quiet.

Here's the uncomfortable part: the firm usually finds out from a client. Someone mentions the address on Google looked wrong, or Maps walked them to the wrong door, and only then does anyone go looking. The fix is boring. An audit, then weeks of correcting listings one directory at a time, then monitoring so the aggregators don't quietly reintroduce the stale data. (They do. Nobody warns you about that part.) We wrote up how to check your own listings in our guide to local SEO for accountants, and the check takes about ten minutes.
